During the treatment, a radio emitter is placed against the skin. The radio energy passes through the upper layers of the skin and delivers heat to the underlying muscle and tissue. The heat causes the tissue to contract, and the upper layers to contract with it. (A cooling spray is used in conjunction with the radio emitter.)

The result of the treatment is tighter skin, reduced wrinkling, and a fresh new look. Usually there are only brief side effects like mild swelling and irritation that can be addressed with topical anesthetic creams.
