Take Time Off Work

It may not seem like the first thing you want to do but the average recovery time for a standard eye lift is around 2 weeks. This also happens to be the minimum amount of time allotted by most companies for vacation in America.

So be sure you budget you vacation time accordingly. However, getting the time off I the fall or in the spring should be easy, as few people opt to take their time off then. It is also when the weather is the most mild so you won't have to worry about the sun or the cold damaging your tender and sensitive face.

Strenuous Activity

While it may seem logical that, after your eye lift procedure, you are going to want to hit the gym and get that perfect bod to match your perfect face, but be warned. Too much stressful exercise could do serious and permanent damage to the work that you have had done. This could mean having to go in for another costly and time consuming eye lift.

Alcohol

While it s never a good idea to consume alcohol after any procedure, the same is quite true for eye lift recovery. Alcohol can have a negative effect on every part of your body so it is best to take it easy right after your surgery. Wait a couple weeks before heading out to the bar to show off your new face.

Make-Up

This one generally only applies to women. You may be tempted to put make up on your face to conceal those new and ugly looking bruises and scars. But be warned. The chemicals in certain makeup can harm the work that has been done to your eyes.

The last you think you are going to want to do is ruin the great work that has already been done. After 1-2 weeks there will be plenty of time to use makeup to enhance your new and fabulous face.
